स समं धर्मकामार्थान् सिषेवे भरतर्षभ । त्रीनिवात्मसमान् बन्धून् नीतिमानिव मानयन्
sa samaṃ dharmakāmārthān siṣeve bharatarṣabha | trīn ivātmasamān bandhūn nītimān iva mānayan ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi bậc tráng sĩ trong dòng Bharata, ngài đã theo đuổi dharma, artha và kāma một cách quân bình. Như người am tường chính đạo, ngài tôn trọng cả ba như những thân quyến yêu quý ngang với chính mình—thụ hưởng chúng bằng công bằng và tiết độ, không sa vào thái quá.”
