Shloka 12
एतत् तव महाराज पुत्रेषु तेषु चैव हि । वृत्तमौपयिकं मन्ये भीष्मेण सह भारत,भरतवंशी महाराज! आपको अपने पुत्रों और पाण्डवोंके प्रति उपर्युक्त व्यवहार ही करना चाहिये--भीष्मजीके साथ मैं भी यही उचित समझता हूँ
etad tava mahārāja putreṣu teṣu caiva hi | vṛttam aupayikaṃ manye bhīṣmeṇa saha bhārata ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Tâu đại vương, đối với các con của ngài và cả các Pāṇḍava ấy, thần cho rằng cách xử sự vừa nêu là thích đáng và thiết thực nhất. Hỡi Bhārata, thần cũng—cùng với Bhīṣma—xét đó là con đường đúng đắn.”
