समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

महादेवेन युद्ध च किरातवपुषा सह । दर्शन॑ं लोकपालानामग्त्रप्राप्तिस्तथैव च,वहीं किरातवेशधारी महादेवजीके साथ अर्जुनका युद्ध हुआ, लोकपालोंके दर्शन हुए और अस्त्रकी प्राप्ति हुई
Mahādevena yuddhaṃ ca kirātavapuṣā saha | darśanaṃ lokapālānām astraprāptis tathaiva ca ||
Lại có một trận chiến với Mahādeva, đấng đã hóa thân thành Kirāta (thợ săn núi). Sau đó là sự chiêm kiến các Lokapāla (những vị hộ thần phương hướng), và cũng từ đó mà thọ đắc các thần khí.
