Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī

Educational Q&A

When a harmful intention is recognized early, dharmic authority intervenes to restrain action; ethical life requires checking corrupt resolve before it becomes irreversible harm.

Vyāsa perceives Duryodhana’s tainted motive and quickly arrives to prevent him from departing; the text notes that the Surabhī episode is told in this same connection as an illustrative narrative.
