उच्चैःश्रवसः वर्णविपणः तथा नागशापः
Uccaiḥśravas Color-Wager and the Nāga Curse
ततस्तदमृतं तस्यै ददुस्ते मूढचेतस: । स्त्रिये दानवदैतेया: सर्वे तदूग़तमानसा:,समस्त दैत्यों और दानवोंने उस मोहिनीपर अपना हृदय निछावर कर दिया। उनके चित्तमें मूढ़ता छा गयी। अतः उन सबने स्त्रीरूपधारी भगवानको वह अमृत सौंप दिया
tatas tad amṛtaṃ tasyai dadus te mūḍha-cetasaḥ | striye dānava-daiteyāḥ sarve tad-ūḍha-tamānasāḥ ||
Rồi các Daitya và Dānava, tâm trí bị mê muội và say đắm che phủ, đã trao bình cam lộ ấy cho nàng—cho chính đấng mang hình nữ (Mohinī). Khi đã phó mặc lý trí cho dục vọng, họ tự tay giao phần thưởng mình khổ công tranh đoạt cho kẻ sẽ tước đoạt nó khỏi họ.
