कान्यकुब्जे महानासीत् पार्थिवो भरतर्षभ । गाधीति विश्रुतो लोके कुशिकस्यात्मसम्भव:,भरतवंशशिरोमणे! कान्यकुब्ज देशमें एक बहुत बड़े राजा थे, जो इस लोकमें गाधिके नामसे विख्यात थे। वे कुशिकके औरस पुत्र बताये जाते हैं
kānyakubje mahān āsīt pārthivo bharatarṣabha | gādhīti viśruto loke kuśikasyātmasambhavaḥ ||
Gandharva nói: “Hỡi bậc trượng phu của dòng Bharata, tại Kānyakubja thuở xưa có một vị đại vương hùng mạnh, lừng danh trong thiên hạ với tên Gādhi. Ngài được nói là con ruột đích thực của Kuśika.”
