Aurva Episode: Restoration of Sight and Restraint of World-Destructive Anger
देवगन्धर्ववाहास्ते दिव्यवर्णा मनोजवा: । क्षीणाक्षीणा भवन्त्येते न हीयन्ते च रंहस:,वे घोड़े देवताओं और गन्धर्वोंके वाहन हैं। उनके शरीरकी कान्ति दिव्य है। वे मनके समान वेगशाली और आवश्यकताके अनुसार दुबले-मोटे होते हैं; किंतु उनका वेग कभी कम नहीं होता
devagandharvavāhās te divyavarṇā manojavāḥ | kṣīṇākṣīṇā bhavanty ete na hīyante ca raṁhasaḥ ||
Gandharva nói: “Những tuấn mã ấy là vật cưỡi của chư thiên và các Gandharva. Hào quang thân thể chúng mang sắc thái siêu phàm; tốc độ nhanh như ý niệm. Chúng có thể gầy hay đầy tùy theo nhu cầu, nhưng sự mau lẹ thì chẳng bao giờ suy giảm.”
गन्धर्व उवाच
The verse praises unwavering excellence: though circumstances (form, leanness or fullness) may change, true capability—here symbolized by unflagging speed—does not diminish. It implicitly commends reliability and undiminished strength when aligned with a higher, rightful order.
A Gandharva describes extraordinary horses associated with gods and Gandharvas, emphasizing their divine radiance, mind-like speed, and their ability to alter bodily condition without any loss of swiftness.
