एकचक्रानिवासे ब्राह्मणगृहदुःखश्रवणम् | Hearing the Brāhmaṇa Household’s Distress at Ekacakrā
कुत एव महात्मानौ माद्रीपुत्रौ करिष्यत: । तान् राज्यं पितृतः प्राप्तान् धृतराष्ट्रो न मृष्यते,'फिर महात्मा दोनों माद्रीकुमार कैसे पाप कर सकेंगे। पाण्डवोंको अपने पितासे जो राज्य प्राप्त हुआ था, धृतराष्ट्र उसे सहन नहीं कर रहे हैं
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | kuta eva mahātmānau mādrīputrau kariṣyataḥ | tān rājyaṃ pitṛtaḥ prāptān dhṛtarāṣṭro na mṛṣyate |
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Làm sao hai người con cao quý của Mādrī lại có thể phạm điều sai trái? Thế nhưng Dhṛtarāṣṭra không thể chịu nổi việc những Pāṇḍava ấy—đã nhận vương quyền theo lẽ thừa kế từ phụ vương—lại được nắm giữ nó.”
