न सख्यमजरं लोके हृदि तिष्ठति कस्यचित् । कालो होन॑ विहरति क्रोधो वैनं हरत्युत,लोकमें किसी भी मनुष्यके हृदयमें मैत्री अमिट होकर नहीं रहती। समय एक मित्रको दूसरेसे विलग कर देता है अथवा क्रोध मनुष्यको मित्रतासे हटा देता है
na sakhyam ajaraṁ loke hṛdi tiṣṭhati kasyacit | kālo hi enaṁ viharati krodho vā enaṁ haraty uta ||
Trong cõi đời này, chẳng có trái tim nào giữ được tình bạn như điều không già, không đổi. Thời gian tự nó chia lìa bạn hữu; và cơn giận cũng có thể kéo con người rời khỏi tình bằng hữu.
