आस्तीक-उपाख्यान-प्रस्तावः | Introduction to the Āstīka Narrative
निखिलेन यथातत्त्वं सौते सर्वमशेषत: । आस्तीकक्ष द्विजश्रेष्ठ: किमर्थ जपतां वर:
nikhilena yathātattvaṃ saute sarvamaśeṣataḥ | āstīkakṣa dvijaśreṣṭhaḥ kimarthaṃ japatāṃ varaḥ ||
Śaunaka nói: “Hỡi Sauti, xin hãy kể trọn vẹn—đúng như sự thật, không bỏ sót điều gì—vì sao Āstīka, bậc tối thượng trong hàng Bà-la-môn, người ưu tú nhất trong những kẻ chuyên tâm tụng niệm thánh ngôn, lại được biết đến và ca ngợi như thế.”
