दंष्टाश्न देष्टिणां तेषां मर्मस्वपि निपातिता: । त्वचं नैवास्य बिभिदु: सारत्वात् पृथुवक्षस:
daṃṣṭāśna-deṣṭināṃ teṣāṃ marmasv api nipātitāḥ | tvacaṃ naivāsya bibhiduḥ sāratvāt pṛthuvakṣasaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Dẫu bọn rắn ấy có cắm nanh vào cả những huyệt mệnh của chàng, chúng vẫn không thể xuyên thủng làn da; bởi Bhīmasena, ngực nở rộng và thể chất rắn chắc, có lớp da cứng như sắt. Sự việc ấy nêu rõ rằng sức mạnh và sức chịu đựng bẩm sinh có thể làm tiêu tan ác ý, và tai họa nhắm vào người chính trực có thể không thành khi được che chở bởi sinh lực tự nhiên và công đức.
