कर्णप्रवेशः—रङ्गे द्वन्द्वयुद्धप्रस्तावः तथा अङ्गराज्याभिषेकः

Karna’s Entry, Duel Proposal, and Consecration as King of Aṅga

मुहूर्तोदित आदित्ये सर्वे बालपुरस्कृता: । सदारास्तापसान द्रष्टं निर्ययु: पुरवासिन:,दो घड़ी दिन चढ़ते-चढ़ते समस्त पुरवासी स्त्रियों और बालकोंको साथ लिये तपस्वी मुनियोंका दर्शन करनेके लिये नगरसे बाहर निकल आये

muhūrtodite āditye sarve bālapuraskṛtāḥ | sadārās tāpasān draṣṭuṃ niryayuḥ puravāsinaḥ ||

Khi mặt trời vừa lên được một lúc, toàn thể dân thành—đưa trẻ nhỏ đi trước và có vợ con cùng theo—đều ra khỏi thành để chiêm bái các bậc hiền sĩ khổ hạnh.
