ततो माद्री समालिड्र्य राजानं गतचेतसम्‌ । मुमोच दुःखजं शब्दं पुन: पुनरतीव हि,तब माद्री राजाके शवसे लिपटकर बार-बार अत्यन्त दुःखभरी वाणीमें विलाप करने लगी

tato mādrī samāliḍhya rājānaṃ gatacetasaṃ | mumoca duḥkhajaṃ śabdaṃ punaḥ punar atīva hi ||

Rồi Mādrī ôm chặt nhà vua đã lìa thần thức, hết lần này đến lần khác bật lên tiếng kêu sinh từ đau khổ, than khóc thảm thiết.
