Pāṇḍu’s Marriages, Conquests, and Triumphal Return (पाण्डोर्विवाह-विजय-प्रत्यागमनम्)
सत्यमेतन्महाबाहो यथा वदसि भारत । विश्वासात् ते प्रवक्ष्यामि संतानाय कुलस्य न:,उसने कहा--“महाबाहु भीष्म! तुम जैसा कहते हो वही ठीक है। तुमपर विश्वास होनेसे अपने कुलकी संततिकी रक्षाके लिये तुम्हें मैं एक बात बतलाती हूँ
satyam etan mahābāho yathā vadasi bhārata | viśvāsāt te pravakṣyāmi santānāya kulasya naḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Đúng vậy, hỡi bậc dũng sĩ tay mạnh; đúng như lời ngài nói, hỡi Bhārata. Vì ta tin ngài, ta sẽ nói một điều—để dòng dõi của gia tộc chúng ta được gìn giữ.”
