भीष्मस्य चास्य वचनान्नियोगाच्च ममानघ । अनुक्रोशाच्च भूतानां सर्वेषां रक्षणाय च

Transliteration

bhīṣmasya cāsya vacanān niyogāc ca mamānagha | anukrośāc ca bhūtānāṃ sarveṣāṃ rakṣaṇāya ca ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi người vô tội, việc này được tiến hành vì vâng theo lời Bhīṣma và theo sự ủy thác của ta; lại cũng vì lòng thương xót đối với mọi loài hữu tình và để bảo hộ tất cả.”
