सम्प्राप्तयौवनं दृष्टवा भ्रातरं धीमतां वर: । भीष्मो विचित्रवीर्यस्य विवाहायाकरोन्मतिम्‌,जब विचित्रवीर्य धीरे-धीरे युवावस्थामें पहुँचे, तब बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीष्मजीने उनकी वह अवस्था देख विचित्रवीर्यके विवाहका विचार किया

Transliteration

samprāptayauvanaṁ dṛṣṭvā bhrātaraṁ dhīmatāṁ varaḥ | bhīṣmo vicitravīryasya vivāhāyākaron matim ||

Translation

Thấy người em Vicitravīrya đã đến tuổi thanh xuân, Bhīṣma—bậc nhất trong hàng trí giả—liền hướng tâm nghĩ đến việc sắp đặt hôn sự cho Vicitravīrya.
