राज्यं तावत् पूर्वमेव मया त्यक्तं नराधिपा: । अपत्यहेतोरपि च करिष्येड्द्य विनिश्चयम्,राजाओ! राज्य तो मैंने पहले ही छोड़ दिया है; अब संतानके लिये भी अटल निश्चय कर रहा हूँ
rājyaṃ tāvat pūrvam eva mayā tyaktaṃ narādhipāḥ | apatyahator api ca kariṣye ’dya viniścayam rājāo ||
Gāḍeya nói: “Hỡi các bậc quân vương, ngôi báu ta đã từ lâu tự tay từ bỏ. Và hôm nay, dẫu chỉ vì việc cầu tự, ta cũng lập một quyết tâm sắt đá.”
