सुराणां सम्मतो नित्यमसुराणां च भारत । उशना वेद यच्छास्त्रमयं तद्‌ वेद सर्वश:,भारत! देवता और असुर भी इसका सदा सम्मान करते हैं। शुक्राचार्य जिस (नीति) शास्त्रको जानते हैं, उसका यह भी पूर्णरूपसे जानकार है

surāṇāṁ sammato nityam asurāṇāṁ ca bhārata | uśanā veda yacchāstramayaṁ tad veda sarvaśaḥ ||

“Hỡi Bhārata, chàng luôn được cả chư thiên lẫn loài asura kính trọng. Bất cứ trước tác nào về phép trị nước và khuôn phép hành xử mà Uśanā (Śukrācārya) am tường, thì toàn bộ khoa học ấy chàng cũng biết trọn vẹn, không thiếu một phần.”
