Shiva (as the presiding Lord of the kṣetra), within Suta’s narration to the sages
It states that even Shiva’s darśana at a consecrated kṣetra (Goprekṣaka) grants protection from durgati and burns kalmaṣa, underscoring that Linga-darśana is a direct means of grace from Pati to the paśu.
Shiva is presented as the liberating Pati whose mere presence and vision remove impurity (kalmaṣa) and avert fallen destinies, indicating His anugraha-śakti (grace) operating beyond ordinary karmic limitation.
Kṣetra-yātrā and Shiva-darśana (pilgrimage and sacred viewing) are emphasized; in a Pāśupata sense, approaching the Lord and receiving His darśana functions as a purifying upāya that loosens pāśa (bondage).
