अविमुक्तक्षेत्रमाहात्म्य — काशी-वाराणसी में मोक्ष, लिङ्ग-तीर्थ-मानचित्र, और उपासना-विधि

भागीरथीं समेष्यन्ति सर्वपर्वसु सुव्रते अविमुक्तेश्वरं दृष्ट्वा दृष्ट्वा चैव त्रिविष्टपम्

bhāgīrathīṃ sameṣyanti sarvaparvasu suvrate avimukteśvaraṃ dṛṣṭvā dṛṣṭvā caiva triviṣṭapam

Hỡi người nữ giữ hạnh nguyện cao quý, vào mỗi kỳ lễ hội thiêng, họ đều đến với Bhāgīrathī (sông Gaṅgā). Hết lần này đến lần khác, khi đã chiêm bái Avimukteśvara—Đức Śiva không rời bỏ Kāśī—họ như được thấy cả Triviṣṭapa (cõi trời), vì cái thấy ấy nới lỏng sợi pāśa (trói buộc) của paśu (linh hồn) và dẫn về trạng thái của Pati (Đấng Chủ).
