उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

सूर्यं नित्यमुपस्थाय सम्यगारोग्यमाप्नुयात् नदीतोयेन सम्पूर्णं घटं संस्पृश्य शोभनम्

sūryaṃ nityamupasthāya samyagārogyamāpnuyāt nadītoyena sampūrṇaṃ ghaṭaṃ saṃspṛśya śobhanam

Thường xuyên kính lễ Mặt Trời, người ấy đạt được sức khỏe trọn vẹn và vững bền. Chạm vào một bình đẹp đầy nước sông (nghi thức tịnh hóa), liền trở nên cát tường, tâm ý đoan chính để phụng thờ—xứng đáng tiến về Thượng Đế Śiva, đấng Pati, nhờ sự trì giới và hành trì nghiêm mật.
