व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

मार्गशीर्षे च मासे ऽपि कृत्वैवं नक्तभोजनम् यवान्नेन यथान्यायम् आज्यक्षीरादिभिः समम्

mārgaśīrṣe ca māse 'pi kṛtvaivaṃ naktabhojanam yavānnena yathānyāyam ājyakṣīrādibhiḥ samam

Ngay cả trong tháng Mārgaśīrṣa, cũng nên giữ kỷ luật như vậy: chỉ thọ thực vào ban đêm; và theo đúng phép tắc, dùng bữa bằng thức ăn từ lúa mạch (yavānna), kèm đều với bơ tinh (ghee), sữa và các phẩm vật thanh tịnh tương tự—để hành trì giới nguyện Śaiva bằng sự tiết chế vì Đức Chúa (Pati).
