व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

ज्येष्ठे मासे च देवेशं भवं शर्वमुमापतिम् सम्पूज्य श्रद्धया भक्त्या कृत्वा वै नक्तभोजनम्

jyeṣṭhe māse ca deveśaṃ bhavaṃ śarvamumāpatim sampūjya śraddhayā bhaktyā kṛtvā vai naktabhojanam

Trong tháng Jyeṣṭha, sau khi thành kính thờ phụng với niềm tin và lòng sùng mộ Đấng Chúa của chư thiên—Bhava, Śarva, phu quân của Umā—hành giả nên giữ hạnh chỉ thọ thực ban đêm. Nhờ Shiva-pūjā có điều phục như vậy, paśu (linh hồn bị ràng buộc) hướng về Pati (Śiva), và pāśa (trói buộc) được nới lỏng bởi bhakti và lời nguyện.
