Adhyaya 75: Nishkala–Sakala Shiva, Twofold Linga, and the Supremacy of Dhyana-Yajna

कर्मयज्ञसहस्रेभ्यस् तपोयज्ञो विशिष्यते तपोयज्ञसहस्रेभ्यो जपयज्ञो विशिष्यते

karmayajñasahasrebhyas tapoyajño viśiṣyate tapoyajñasahasrebhyo japayajño viśiṣyate

Hơn ngàn tế lễ do hành nghiệp (karma-yajña), tế lễ khổ hạnh (tapo-yajña) thù thắng hơn; và hơn ngàn tế lễ khổ hạnh, tế lễ japa—trì tụng Danh Thánh, nhất là Danh Śiva—thù thắng hơn. Vì thế, đối với paśu (linh hồn bị trói buộc), sự thờ phụng nội tâm bằng thần chú là con đường trực tiếp nhất hướng về Śiva (Pati).
