एष वः कथितः सर्वो वासिष्ठानां समासतः प्रभवः शक्तिसूनोश् च प्रभावो मुनिपुङ्गवाः

Transliteration

eṣa vaḥ kathitaḥ sarvo vāsiṣṭhānāṃ samāsataḥ prabhavaḥ śaktisūnoś ca prabhāvo munipuṅgavāḥ

Translation

Hỡi các bậc hiền thánh tối thượng, ta đã tóm lược kể cho các ngài toàn bộ nguồn gốc của các Vasiṣṭha, và cả sự vĩ đại cùng năng lực tâm linh của con trai Śakti—người mà tapas và ân sủng Śaiva đã trở nên lừng danh.
