FAQs

It frames Shiva-related sacred abodes as cosmically sanctioned foundations—established at creation and remaining potent until pralaya—thereby supporting the idea that linga-sthanas and kshetras carry enduring spiritual efficacy for worship and pilgrimage.

By stressing the stability of sacred abodes across the entire kalpa, it implies an underlying permanence aligned with Pati (Shiva) as the steady ground of dharma and grace, even while manifested worlds arise and dissolve.

Kshetra-sevana (reverent resort to Shiva’s sacred places) and linga-upasana are implied as enduring supports for the pashu’s purification—practices harmonized with Pashupata orientation toward steadfast devotion to Pati amid cosmic change.
