Shloka 6

स्नानविधिः — गायत्र्यावाहन, सूर्यवन्दन, तर्पण, पञ्चमहायज्ञ, भस्मस्नान, मन्त्रस्नान

उदुत्यं च तथा चित्रं जातवेदसमेव च अभिवन्द्य पुनः सूर्यं ब्रह्माणं च विधानतः

udutyaṃ ca tathā citraṃ jātavedasameva ca abhivandya punaḥ sūryaṃ brahmāṇaṃ ca vidhānataḥ

Sau khi tụng đúng phép các thánh ca “Ud utyam”, “Citra” và “Jātavedas”, hành giả lại kính lễ Sūrya và Brahmā theo nghi quỹ. Nhờ vậy, người thờ phụng hòa hợp nghi lễ Veda bên ngoài với kỷ luật Śaiva bên trong, chuẩn bị paśu tiến gần Pati (Śiva) bằng cách nới lỏng pasha (xiềng xích) do sự lơ là trong nghi lễ.
