FAQs

It asserts the non-negotiable fruit of Śiva-oriented worship and devotion: the worshipper ultimately attains śivatā (Śiva-nature), making the soteriological aim of Linga-pūjā explicit.

Śiva-tattva is presented as an attainable supreme state—freedom from pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (soul) by the grace of Pati (Śiva)—so certain that “no deliberation” is required.

The verse emphasizes the guaranteed result of Śiva-bhakti and Śiva-upāsanā (including Linga-pūjā); it aligns with Pāśupata orientation where steadfast devotion and discipline culminate in śivatā.
