उमास्वयंवरः / भवोद्वाहः, गणसमागमः, अविमुक्तक्षेत्रमाहात्म्यम्, तथा विनायक-उत्पत्तिसूचना
ओंकारेशः कृत्तिवासा मृतानां न पुनर्भवः उक्त्वा क्षेत्रस्य माहात्म्यं संक्षेपाच्छशिशेखरः
oṃkāreśaḥ kṛttivāsā mṛtānāṃ na punarbhavaḥ uktvā kṣetrasya māhātmyaṃ saṃkṣepācchaśiśekharaḥ
Vì thế, Śaśiśekhara (Śiva), sau khi tóm lược mà tuyên dương đại oai đức của thánh địa ấy, liền phán: “Om̐kāreśa, Kṛttivāsā — ai chết tại đây thì không còn trở lại vòng tái sinh.”

It elevates Omkareshvara as a liberation-granting Linga-kṣetra, teaching that devotion and surrender to the Lord of the Linga culminate in freedom from punarbhava (rebirth).
Śiva is presented as Pati—Kṛttivāsā and Śaśiśekhara—whose grace can sever pāśa (bondage) so that the paśu (individual soul) does not return to saṃsāra.
The verse implies kṣetra-sevā and Linga-upāsanā at Omkareshvara—pilgrimage, worship, and remembrance of Śiva—supported by a Pāśupata orientation where liberation is ultimately by Śiva’s anugraha (grace).
