Shloka 16

दक्षयज्ञध्वंसः—वीरभद्रप्रेषणं, देवविष्ण्वोः पराजयः, पुनरनुग्रहः

व्यष्टम्भयद् अदीनात्मा तथान्येषां दिवौकसाम् भगस्य नेत्रे चोत्पाट्य करजाग्रेण लीलया

vyaṣṭambhayad adīnātmā tathānyeṣāṃ divaukasām bhagasya netre cotpāṭya karajāgreṇa līlayā

Đấng Chúa Tể không hề nao núng đã chặn đứng và khuất phục cả các thiên chúng khác. Rồi chỉ như một trò đùa, Ngài dùng đầu móng tay nhổ đôi mắt của Bhaga—bày tỏ uy quyền tuyệt đối, nhẹ như không, của Pati trên mọi chư thiên.
