रजसा कुण्ठमनस: कामात्मानोऽजितेन्द्रिया: । पितृन् यजन्त्यनुदिनं गृहेष्वभिरताशया: ॥ १७ ॥

rajasā kuṇṭha-manasaḥ kāmātmāno ’jitendriyāḥ pitṝn yajanty anudinaṁ gṛheṣv abhiratāśayāḥ

Bị thúc đẩy bởi rajas, họ mang tâm bất an, bị dục vọng chi phối và không chế ngự được các giác quan. Say mê hy vọng gia thất, họ hằng ngày thờ cúng tổ tiên và bận rộn ngày đêm để cải thiện kinh tế của gia đình, xã hội hay quốc gia.
