Uddhava Recalls Kṛṣṇa’s Mission: Earth’s Burden, Royal Dharma, and the Prelude to Dvārakā’s Withdrawal
In the Brahma-saṁhitā (5.33) the Lord is described as follows in regard to His innumerable plenary expansions:
This verse describes how Kardama Muni, by his own yogic potency (svamāyayā), could be present in many homes at once to accept the wives’ hands—showing siddhis can operate within dharma when aligned with divine purpose.
He narrates Kardama’s extraordinary yogic capacity to fulfill household duties and the divine plan (the expansion of progeny), while remaining spiritually empowered and controlled.
Perform responsibilities with integrity and focus, remembering that true capability comes from disciplined practice and God’s grace, not from ego; prioritize dharma while keeping spiritual goals central.
