अथ ते भ्रातृपुत्राणां पक्षयो: पतितान्नृपान् । चचाल भू: कुरुक्षेत्रं येषामापततां बलै: ॥ १२ ॥

atha te bhrātṛ-putrāṇāṁ pakṣayoḥ patitān nṛpān cacāla bhūḥ kurukṣetraṁ yeṣām āpatatāṁ balaiḥ

Translation

Rồi, hỡi Vidura, Đức Chúa khiến các vua ở cả hai phe—phe đối địch và phe của những người cháu chiến đấu của ngươi—đều bị diệt trong trận Kurukṣetra. Họ hùng mạnh đến nỗi khi tiến qua chiến địa, đất như rung chuyển.
