Bhagīratha Brings Gaṅgā; Saudāsa’s Curse; Khaṭvāṅga’s Instant Renunciation
दर्शयामास तं देवी प्रसन्ना वरदास्मि ते । इत्युक्त: स्वमभिप्रायं शशंसावनतो नृप: ॥ ३ ॥
darśayām āsa taṁ devī prasannā varadāsmi te ity uktaḥ svam abhiprāyaṁ śaśaṁsāvanato nṛpaḥ
Sau đó, Mẫu thân Gaṅgā hiện ra, hoan hỷ và nói: “Ta sẵn lòng ban phúc cho ngươi.” Được Gaṅgādevī ngỏ lời như vậy, nhà vua cúi đầu đảnh lễ và bày tỏ tâm nguyện của mình.
