कं धास्यति कुमारोऽयं स्तन्ये रोरूयते भृशम् । मां धाता वत्स मा रोदीरितीन्द्रो देशिनीमदात् ॥ ३१ ॥
kaṁ dhāsyati kumāro ’yaṁ stanye rorūyate bhṛśam māṁ dhātā vatsa mā rodīr itīndro deśinīm adāt
Đứa bé khóc dữ dội đòi sữa; các bà-la-môn buồn bã nói: “Ai sẽ nuôi đứa trẻ này?” Khi ấy Indra, vị được tôn thờ trong lễ tế, đến dỗ dành, đặt ngón trỏ vào miệng bé và nói: “Đừng khóc; hãy uống chính ta.”
