Nghe vậy, hai Aśvinī-kumāra đỡ lấy Cyavana Muni—thân thể bị tuổi già hành hạ, da chùng nhăn, tóc bạc và gân mạch hiện rõ—rồi cả ba cùng bước vào hồ ấy.
Cyavana Muni was so old that he could not enter the lake alone. Thus the Aśvinī-kumāras caught hold of his body, and the three of them entered the lake.
This verse depicts the Aśvinī-kumāras personally assisting the aged sage by leading him into a sacred lake, highlighting their role as celestial physicians who restore health and vitality by divine power.
In this chapter’s narrative, the Aśvins help the sage who had become worn by old age; entering the lake is part of the rejuvenation process they perform for him.
It encourages humility about aging and faith that sincere devotion and divine support can transform even difficult conditions, while also honoring genuine service rendered to saints and devotees.
