मूढे भर द्वाजमिमं भर द्वाजं बृहस्पते । यातौ यदुक्त्वा पितरौ भरद्वाजस्ततस्त्वयम् ॥ ३८ ॥
mūḍhe bhara dvājam imaṁ bhara dvājaṁ bṛhaspate yātau yad uktvā pitarau bharadvājas tatas tv ayam
Bṛhaspati nói với Mamatā: “Hỡi người đàn bà mê muội! Dù đứa trẻ này sinh trong vợ của một người bởi tinh của người khác, ngươi vẫn phải nuôi dưỡng nó—Bharadvāja.” Mamatā đáp: “Ôi Bṛhaspati, chính ngài hãy nuôi Bharadvāja!” Nói xong, cả hai đều bỏ đi; vì thế đứa trẻ được gọi là Bharadvāja.
