निशम्याक्रन्दितं देवी पुत्रयोर्नीयमानयो: । हतास्म्यहं कुनाथेन नपुंसा वीरमानिना ॥ २८ ॥
niśamyākranditaṁ devī putrayor nīyamānayoḥ hatāsmy ahaṁ kunāthena napuṁsā vīra-māninā
Urvaśī coi hai con cừu non như con ruột. Nghe tiếng chúng kêu khóc khi bị đưa đi, nàng quở trách chồng: “Ta đang bị hủy diệt dưới sự che chở của kẻ chồng bất xứng—tự cho mình anh hùng, nhưng thật là hèn nhát và bất lực!”
