यद् गिरामि सं गिरामि समुद्र इव संगिरः । प्राणानमुष्य संगीर्य सं गिरामो अमुं वयम्

yád girā́mi sáṃ girāmi samudrá iva saṃgiráḥ | prāṇā́n amúṣya saṃgī́rya sáṃ girāmo amúṃ vayám ||

What I swallow, that swallow I utterly, as Ocean engulfs: having swallowed up the breaths of that man, we swallow him up entire, even we.

Ta nuốt điều gì, ta nuốt điều ấy cho tận cùng, như đại dương nuốt chửng. Khi đã nuốt trọn các hơi thở (prāṇa) của người ấy, chúng ta nuốt trọn chính người ấy toàn vẹn—chính chúng ta đây.
