पिप्पली-भैषज्यम्। पिप्पली क्षिप्तभेषज्यू३तातिविद्धभेषजी। तां देवाः समकल्पयन्नियं जीवितवा अलम्

IAST Transliteration

pippalī́ kṣíptabheṣajy ù́3tátividdhabheṣajī́ | tā́m devā́ḥ sám akalpayan níyáṃ jī́vitavā́ álam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Pippalī is a medicament for him that is smitten down, yea, a medicament for him that is sorely pierced. Her did the Gods duly constitute: this one is sufficient, in very truth, for life.

Translation

Pippalī là dược liệu: là thuốc cho kẻ bị quật ngã, là thuốc cho kẻ bị đâm xuyên đau đớn. Chư Thiên đã lập định nàng đúng phép: chỉ một vị này thôi, quả thật đủ để gìn giữ sự sống.
