जनाय चिद् य ईवते उ लोकं बृहस्पतिर्देवहूतौ चकार । घ्नन् वृत्राणि वि पुरो दर्दरीति जयं छत्रूंरमित्रान् पृत्सु साहन्

IAST Transliteration

jánāya cid yá ī́vate u lokáṃ bṛ́haspátir deváhūtau cakā́ra | ghnán vṛ́trāṇi ví púro dardarīti jáyañ chátrūn amítrān pṛtsú sā́han

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Even for the man who strives toward a station, Bṛhaspati at the gods’ invocation hath made a world (a secure place); slaying the Vṛtras, he shatters the strongholds asunder, conquering enemies and non-friends, prevailing in battles.

Translation

Ngay cả đối với người đang nỗ lực hướng tới một chỗ đứng (loka), Bṛhaspati theo lời thỉnh cầu của chư thần (devahūti) đã tạo nên một “thế giới”, một nơi nương tựa vững chắc. Ngài giết các Vṛtra, phá tan các thành lũy (pura) cho rã rời; trong chiến trận (pṛtsu) Ngài chiến thắng, khuất phục kẻ thù và kẻ không-bạn (amitra).
