Sukta 81
यद् द्याव इन्द्र ते शतं शतं भूमिरुत स्युः । न त्वा वज्रिन्त्सहस्रं सूर्या अनु न जातमष्ट रोदसी
yád dyā́va indra te śatáṃ śatáṃ bhū́mir utá syúḥ | ná tvā vajrin sahásraṃ sū́ryā ánu ná jātám aṣṭá ródasī ||
Though there were for thee, O Indra, a hundred and a hundred heavens, and earths likewise—yet should not a thousand suns in succession match thee, O Vajrin, nor what is born within the two worlds.
Dẫu vì Ngài—hỡi Indra—có trăm rồi lại trăm tầng trời, và cũng có bấy nhiêu cõi đất; nhưng, hỡi Vajrin (Đấng cầm chày sét), dù một nghìn mặt trời nối tiếp nhau xuất hiện cũng không sánh kịp Ngài, và mọi điều sinh ra trong hai cõi (trời và đất) cũng không thể sánh với Ngài.
