य उग्रः सन्ननिष्टृत स्थिरो रणाय संस्कृतः । यदि स्तोतुर्मघवा शृणवद्धवं नेन्द्रो योषत्या गमत्

IAST Transliteration

yá ugráḥ sán ananiṣṭṛt sthiró raṇā́ya sáṃskṛtaḥ | yádi stotúr maghávā śṛṇávad hávaṃ néndro yoṣátyā gámāt ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

He who, fierce, unrepulsed, steadfast, is made ready for the battle—if the bounteous one shall hear the singer’s call, then may Indra come with willing favor.

Translation

Đấng ấy dữ dội, không thể bị đẩy lùi, vững bền, được sửa soạn cho trận chiến—nếu bậc ban phát (Maghavan) lắng nghe tiếng gọi của người ca tụng, thì xin Indra đến với ân huệ tự nguyện.
