यः कुमारी पिङ्गलिका वसन्तं पीवरी लभेत्। तैलकुण्डमिमाङ्गुष्ठं रोदन्तं शुदमुद्धरेत्

IAST Transliteration

yáḥ kumārī piṅgalikā vásantaṃ pīvarī labhét | táila-kuṇḍam imám aṅguṣṭháṃ ródantaṃ śudám úd-dharet ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Whoso, in springtide, findeth the tawny maiden, full and thriving—let him with this oil-bowl, with this thumb, lift out the weeping one, in purity.

Translation

Ai vào mùa xuân gặp được “thiếu nữ màu hung vàng”, đầy đặn và đang thịnh vượng—người ấy hãy dùng bát dầu này, dùng ngón cái này, trong sự thanh tịnh mà nâng kéo kẻ đang khóc ấy lên và đưa ra.
