Sukta 92
árcata prá́rcata priyámedhāso árcata | árcantu putrakā́ utá puráṃ ná dhṛ́ṣṇv àrcata ||
Chant ye, chant forth; O ye of welcome wisdom, chant ye. Let the sons chant also—yea, chant ye boldly, as one chants for the safeguarding of a stronghold.
Rishi: Traditionally aligned with RV-derived material in AV Book 20 (often RV seers; precise attribution for this verse follows RV Anukramaṇī tradition rather than Atharvanic).
Devata: Indra-context likely within the surrounding hymn; this verse functions as an exhortation to praise (stuti) rather than naming a single devatā explicitly.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh-like cadence (Book 20 often preserves RV meters; exact metrical scan may vary by pada division).
