काले मनः काले प्राणः काले नाम समाहितम्। कालेन सर्वा नन्दन्त्यागतेन प्रजा इमाः

IAST Transliteration

kālē mánaḥ kālé prāṇáḥ kālé nā́ma samā́hitam | kālēna sárvā nándanty ā́gatena prajā́ imā́ḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

In Time is mind; in Time is breath; in Time is name established fast. By Time, when it hath come, all these creatures—these offspring—rejoice and flourish.

Translation

Trong thời gian có tâm; trong thời gian có hơi thở (prāṇa); trong thời gian, danh xưng được an trí vững chắc. Nhờ thời gian—khi thời gian đến—mọi loài hữu tình này, những đàn con cháu này, đều hoan hỷ và hưng thịnh.
