तिस्रो दिवस्तिस्रः पृथिवीस्त्रीण्यन्तरिक्षाणि चतुरः समुद्रान्। त्रिवृतं स्तोमं त्रिवृत आप आहुस्तास्त्वा रक्षन्तु त्रिवृता त्रिवृद्भिः

IAST Transliteration

tísro dívas tísraḥ pṛthivī́s trī́ṇy antárikṣāṇi catúraḥ samudrā́n | trivṛ́taṃ stómaṃ trivṛ́ta ā́pa āhús tā́s tvā rakṣantu trivṛ́tā trivṛ́dbhiḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Three are the heavens, three the earths, and three the mid-air spaces; four are the oceans. A threefold stoma, threefold, the Waters call it: may those Waters guard thee with threefold fence, by threefold powers.

Translation

Ba là các tầng trời, ba là các cõi đất, và ba là các khoảng trung không; bốn là các biển cả. Tụng ca stoma (stoma) ba lớp—các Nước (Āpas) gọi như thế là “ba lớp”. Nguyện các Nước ấy gìn giữ ngươi bằng hàng rào ba lớp, bằng các quyền năng ba lớp.
