Sage Parāśara (in discourse to Maitreya)
This verse defines Vishnu’s highest state as eternal, unborn, unmanifest, and changeless—indicating a transcendent reality beyond material creation and the ultimate goal of liberation.
Parāśara describes the Supreme as avyakta and avikāra—beyond sensory objectification and untouched by transformation—framing Vishnu as the immutable ground of all manifested worlds.
Vishnu is presented as the supreme, imperishable Reality characterized by pure consciousness, establishing Him as the highest refuge and the final end of spiritual realization in Vaishnava philosophy.
