تب مُنیوں کے سردار کشیپ نے اپنی زوجہ کو ایک ور (نعمت) عطا کیا۔ ور دے کر، بے اضطراب کشیپ نے اس سے کہا۔
Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
Speaker: Parasara
Topic: Diti’s request to Kaśyapa and the ensuing circumstances leading to the birth of adversarial beings (daityas/maruts).
Teaching: Historical
Quality: authoritative
Concept: A boon granted by a self-possessed sage illustrates how intention and restraint govern the fruit of actions.
Vedantic Theme: Dharma
Application: Seek boons/benefits with discernment and maintain steadiness after decisions are made.
Vishishtadvaita: The moral order (dharma) operates under the Lord’s governance, with sages as instruments within that order.
A boon functions as the causal hinge that authorizes and shapes future progeny, thereby advancing the Purana’s mapping of cosmic and ancestral lineages.
By portraying Kaśyapa as a composed, authoritative sage who grants boons, Parāśara situates him as a key Prajāpati through whom ordered creation and lineage unfold.
Even when Vishnu is not named in the verse, the Purana frames such lineage-events as operating within Vishnu’s sovereign cosmic order, where sages and progenitors act as instruments of that higher governance.
