Brahmā–Viṣṇu-Pūjā: Upacāra-Vistāra and Īśvara’s Prasāda
Offerings in Shiva Worship and the Lord’s Grace
anātmānaḥ pare sarve jīvā eva na saṃśayaḥ | anugrahādyaṃ sargāṃtaṃ jagatkṛtyaṃ ca paṃkajam

It distinguishes the jīva (finite soul) from the supreme Self and emphasizes that the soul’s journey through creation ultimately depends on Shiva’s anugraha (liberating grace).
Linga-worship approaches Shiva as the accessible Lord (Pati) whose grace governs the cosmos; devotion to Saguna Shiva is presented as a direct means to receive anugraha that loosens bondage.
Contemplate Shiva as the source of anugraha while repeating the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and maintaining Shaiva disciplines such as Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrāksha as supports for steady devotion.
